Hidrock Properties Completes Property Improvements and Retail Leasing at Kings Mall Shopping Center

Upgraded parking areas and renovations by Planet Fitness and LensCrafters are followed by a new Kings Style lease

CINCINNATI, OHIO (February 26, 2026) — Hidrock Properties announced the completion of several property improvement and leasing initiatives at Kings Mall Shopping Center, its 67,246-square-foot, Planet Fitness-anchored retail center located at 9966 Kings Auto Mall Road in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Hidrock completed a full sealcoating and restriping of the property’s parking lot in August 2025, improving the center’s appearance, circulation and overall customer experience. The work was followed by investments from two of the center’s largest national tenants and a new lease with Kings Style.

Planet Fitness completed renovations to its 27,559-square-foot location in June 2026, while LensCrafters completed renovations to its store in April 2026. The projects reinforce both tenants’ commitment to Kings Mall and reflect continued investment in the center.

Kings Style, a clothing retailer with existing stores in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, signed a five-year lease for approximately 1,200 square feet in March 2026. The lease was completed at a rental rate approximately 43 percent higher than that of the previous tenant, reflecting Hidrock’s ability to increase revenue through active leasing and management.

Hidrock acquired Kings Mall Shopping Center in April 2025. The property is located along the Mason retail corridor approximately 20 miles north of downtown Cincinnati and just off Interstate 71.

Built in 1990, the shopping center is situated on approximately 7.86 acres and features a diverse mix of national, regional and local tenants, including Planet Fitness, LensCrafters, H&R Block, Play It Again Sports, Penn Station, Salon Lofts and Kings Style.
